Terms
Last updated 11 October 2026.
These terms cover playing glint.skin and buying things in it. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should read them with you.
Who runs glint.skin
- glint.skin is run by Daniel Tolenaar (“we” in these terms).
- Address: Chronicle House, Chester, CH1 2AB, United Kingdom.
- Email: tolenaardaniel@gmail.com.
Shards and items
- Shards and everything you get in glint.skin are for playing glint.skin. They have no cash value and can’t be swapped for money.
- Shards never buy packs, so nothing random is for sale.
- What you get is yours to use in glint.skin, not property you own. We may change how free rewards work to keep the game fair, but we won’t take away what you paid for without a good reason.
Buying with money
- Buying is always optional. The shop shows each price in your currency before you pay, and says whether tax is included.
- You don’t need an account to buy. What you buy is kept in your browser, and joins your glint.skin account if you sign in there, so turn on cloud save to keep it safe.
- Buying with money is for 13 and over. If you’re under 18, ask a parent or guardian first.
- You pay on Stripe’s secure checkout. It may say Link (part of Stripe), which can sell it to you for us; its own terms then apply as well, including any right to cancel they give you. What you bought is added to your game when you come back, or else the next time you open glint.skin in the same browser or signed in.
- In the UK and EU you can normally cancel an online purchase within 14 days. What you buy here is added as soon as you’ve paid: by paying, you ask for that and agree you can’t cancel it once it’s added, so you lose that right.
- Your other legal rights stay: if something you paid for doesn’t arrive, doesn’t work or isn’t as described, email tolenaardaniel@gmail.com and we’ll put it right or refund you.
- If a child bought something without a parent’s or guardian’s permission, the parent or guardian can email tolenaardaniel@gmail.com about it.
- If the money for a purchase is ever paid back (a refund, or a bank chargeback), what it gave is taken back: the shards from it that you still have, a Shard Club’s days still to come, and a card you haven’t made yet.
- Test versions of glint.skin take only Stripe’s test cards, or only pretend to take payment, and never charge real money.
Your pictures and names
- Your pictures stay yours. You let glint.skin keep them in your cloud save if you turn it on, and put a tiny version of a card’s picture in the Clash links you send.
- You let glint.skin show your Clash name and your cards’ names and stats (never their pictures) to other players on the leaderboards, unless you hide yourself in Settings. That’s only to run the game.
- Only use pictures you’re allowed to use, and no photos of other people without their OK. That goes for a Roblox avatar that isn’t yours, too.
- Nothing rude, hateful, sexual or illegal, in pictures or in names.
Be kind and fair play
- Use a Clash name that isn’t rude and doesn’t pretend to be someone else. No bullying or threats.
- Only put pictures on cards that you’re happy for friends to see a tiny pixel version of in a Clash link.
- Clash results are worked out on each player’s device. Please don’t make up links or cheat the boards.
- While glint.skin is new, Top Cards and its pop-ups include computer players, marked BOT. There are no prizes on Top Cards.
Reports and takedowns
- See a name, card or picture that breaks these terms? Tap it on the leaderboard and choose Report, or on a challenge, ⋯ and Block and report. It’s hidden for you at once, and the report is checked.
- A card on Top Cards that several players report has its names hidden for everyone until it’s checked.
- To report something illegal, or a copyright or trademark problem, email tolenaardaniel@gmail.com with: what it is and where you saw it (the player’s name, the card’s name and when), why you think it’s illegal or infringing, your name and email address, and that you believe what you’ve said is true. We’ll tell you we’ve got it, and what we decide.
- If something of yours was hidden and you think that’s a mistake, email tolenaardaniel@gmail.com and it’ll be looked at again.
- Players who keep breaking these terms have their names hidden whenever they’re found.
Stopping
- You can stop playing any time. If you use cloud save, you can delete your account, its save and its pictures in Settings.
- If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms (rude names, made-up Clash links, cheating the boards), we can hide their names, take them off the boards or close their cloud save account.
- If we end your access to something you paid for without a good reason, we’ll refund what you haven’t used.
- If glint.skin ever closes, we’ll stop selling first, and say so in the game at least 30 days before.
If something goes wrong
- glint.skin is free to play, and we take reasonable care to keep it running, but it may sometimes be down or lose something. Cloud save or a backup file keeps your progress safe.
- What you pay for will be as described and work as it should. That’s your legal right, and nothing in these terms takes it away.
- If we break these terms or don’t take reasonable care, we’re responsible for loss you suffer that could be foreseen, but not for loss that couldn’t, and not for business losses (glint.skin is for personal use).
- If something we supplied damages your device or other digital content because we didn’t take reasonable care, we’ll repair it or pay you fairly for it.
- Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit, and it doesn’t affect your legal rights.
Other people’s games and names
- glint.skin isn’t made by, affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation, or by the makers of any game in the puzzles.
- Roblox and the games’ names are trademarks of their owners, used here only to name them.
Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms when glint.skin or the law changes, and the date at the top changes with them. If a change matters to you (you’ve bought something, or use cloud save), the game tells you about it.
- Something you bought stays covered by the terms from when you bought it.
The legal bits
- These terms are under the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
- If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own courts.
- If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country’s consumer law, and can bring a claim where you live.
- If a court finds part of these terms can’t be used, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something straight away, we can still do it later.
- We may pass glint.skin, and these terms, to someone who takes it over. That won’t affect your rights.
